A lead acid battery requires 8 hours of charge for 5 hours of use. Lithium technology slashes charging time to less than 2 hours for 8 hours of use. Lead acid batteries require constant maintenance of their water and acid levels. Lead acid battery lifespan is approximately 1,500 charging cycles.
